  • GO CLIFF JUMPING: Sai Wan Waterfalls, Sai Kung

We often forget that Hong Kong is surrounded by wilderness and that all we need to do is bring our kiddos along and explore it! After a boat ride or hike to Sai Wan (next to Tai Long Wan in Sai Kung), take a short stroll along walks to discover this secret pool and cliff jumping gem.     Sheung Lok Stream,  Sai Wan, Sai Kung, Hong Kong.  To get here, you can either hire a boat from Sai Kung to Sai Wan and follow the route to the waterfalls.  Or, start at the Sai Wan Pavillion and hike to Sai Wan to start the journey.  There is a little beach restaurant available for after the journey bites.

  • QUAD BIKING AND ATV ADVENTURES: Yuen Long

    The Hong Kong Motorcross Racing Club (MX Club) hosts motocross training, ATV classes, quad biking for kids, war games for families and has a mountain bike track on its extensive outdoor grounds.   • PAINTBALLING: Kowloon Bay

    For those little ladies looking to get dirty - take them to Paintball Headquarters in Kowloon Bay which has 10,000 sq. ft. of roaming space and various obstacle courses, such as towers, bridges, and even fake smoke effects. It’s geared towards kids who are eight-years-old and above, but you’ll need to sign a waiver to let them play. Make sure you and your kids pack-on the layers and head out for a messy, splatter-filled afternoon. Prepare for major paint competition.

  • ROCK CLIMBING: All Over Hong Kong

    For those looking to do some climbing, there are some fantastic options in Hong Kong.  Spiderladies can hit the wall at one of the many indoor climbing walls in the city (and listed below).  If you have little ones, we recommended Verm City!  One secret climbing wall that offers the best value (it's very affordable) is YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui.  Be sure to reserve your slot in advance.  There is also a huge outdoor climbing wall in Tiu Keng Lane which is rarely used and is relatively new.  You will need to go through the governmental climbing certification provided but it's worth it!
