Free Halloween Celebrations: Hong Kong Space Museum Turns Into A Pumpkin!

Prepare for a thrilling Halloween celebration this October! The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has officially launched the “Hong Kong Halloween” campaign, packed with exciting experiences and special offers to ensure your Halloween is truly memorable, starting from October 8! Here are some of the standout features of the “Hong Kong Halloween” campaign:

1. Costume Show at the Hong Kong Space Museum

From October 18 to 31, the Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland! Each night from 8:15 PM to 10:30 PM, visitors can enjoy spectacular projection displays featuring charming characters such as pumpkins, playful ghosts, and whimsical galaxies. Don’t miss the surprise flash mob performances organized by HKTB throughout this festive period!

2. Illuminated “Hong Kong Halloween” Tram

Beginning October 11, a specially decorated tram will traverse the streets of Hong Kong, spreading festive joy day and night. On Halloween night, this tram will evolve into a lively party parade, showcasing adorable ghosts and monsters as it travels along its route!

3. Festive Decorations Across the City

Experience the enchanting Halloween decorations at key locations including Hong Kong International Airport, MTR stations, Visitor Information Centres, and various shopping malls throughout the city.

4. Pumpkin Carriage Ice Cream Truck

Mr. Softee’s ice cream truck will be magically transformed into a delightful “pumpkin carriage,” making appearances in Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Mong Kok on the evenings of October 18, 19, 25, 26 (Fridays and Saturdays), and Halloween night. On October 31, enjoy a complimentary ice cream giveaway from 7 to 10 PM at Pier 8, near the Hong Kong Observation Wheel.
