chinese new year night parade hong kong 2024

The Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade is back and bigger than ever! Held on February 17, 2026, the first day of the Lunar New Year, this vibrant event has become the pinnacle of Hong Kong’s festive season. The parade will feature dazzling floats by Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, LINE FRIENDS, Hong Kong Tourism Board, and more, alongside extraordinary performances by local and international groups. The streets of Tsim Sha Tsui will come alive with lights, music, and festive cheer.

Adding to the excitement, the Hong Kong Art Toys Float will debut with the globally adored LABUBU, joined by other iconic characters like Molly by POP MART and SAM SAM. Inspired by a whimsical bubble bath concept, the float is 10 meters long, adorned with dreamy pastel hues, dazzling lights, and immersive sound effects. This magical moving art installation will transform Tsim Sha Tsui into a wonderland of creativity.

Before the main parade kicks off at 8:00pm, a lively street party starting at 6:00pm will set the mood for an unforgettable beginning to the Year of the Horse.
