Live At The Big Top At The AIA Carnival: An 8-Day Music Festival In Hong Kong

For 8 days in January, the Big Top where the World Circus is being held at the AIA Carnival will undergo a remarkable transformation, becoming an extraordinary live music venue unlike any other. Within the circus ring, a diverse array of both local and international performers will grace the stage, offering an exciting and intimate musical experience.

From a captivating ABBA Tribute Show to the exceptional DJ talent curated by SuNKeN, and from the melodic sounds of the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra to the mesmerizing performances by acclaimed artists from Warner Music, these exclusive events boast limited seating, read on for all the highlights.

• January 19, 2024 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm, SuNKeN featuring CLOONEE: Experience an unprecedented party with global tech house sensation CLOONEE as SuNKeN brings his spectacular debut set to Hong Kong. From a SuNKeN resident in Sheffield to a renowned tech house artist, CLOONEE’s rise has been meteoric, with notable releases, his own record label, and electrifying performances at major festivals and venues worldwide.
• January 20, 2024 at 4:00pm & 7:00pm, Mania The ABBA Tribute: Get ready to travel back in time with “Mania – The ABBA Tribute,” an original production straight from London’s prestigious West End. This meticulously crafted tribute faithfully recreates the magic of one of the world’s greatest pop groups, delivering a highly polished and professional performance that has captivated audiences since its inception in 1999. Having toured extensively across the globe, this ABBA tribute has garnered international acclaim and become the most successful touring show of its kind.
• January 21, 2024 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm, HK Chamber Orchestra Live At The Big Top: Experience the mesmerizing beauty of classical music as the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra presents “Classics – In support of the Doddie Weir Foundation.” In this 60-90 minute orchestral performance, the HKCO will enchant the audience with live renditions of excerpts from some of the world’s most renowned classical compositions.
• January 21, 2024 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm, HK Chamber Orchestra & The Holy Spirits: HK Dance Floor: Experience the captivating fusion of Hong Kong’s rich musical heritage and contemporary dance floor classics as the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra collaborates with three legendary DJs, who have beendeeply influenced by Hong Kong’s vibrant music scene from the 1950s to the 1970s. From the early days of Hong Kong pop to the timeless House Classics of today, the DJs skillfully intertwine their selections with the orchestral accompaniment, creating a surreal narrative that showcases the evolution of Hong Kongers’ music preferences and dance culture throughout the decades.
