Free Music & Performances At Hong Kong’s Harbour Chill Carnival This Summer

For five weekends starting on July 8, 2023, Wan Chai Harbourfront will be hosting a series of free family-friendly live music shows on a water stage at the Harbour Chill Festival, as well street performances from around the world, thrilling X-Games stunts, pyrotechnics and more!

The music shows will cover a range of different Asian artists, as well as Cantonese favorites, and will also host DJ nights, here’s the full lineup. Sign up for your free Harbour Chill music tickets here (tickets for the musical performances are released on June 27 and July 17).

There will be X-Games performances in the evenings, including daring skateboard stunts – do not miss the Hong Kong debut “Red Bull Mind The Gap”! Originating in the US, it will bring together local pro skaters to compete against each other; click here for the schedule. There will also be some amazing and daring BMX tricks as well as street dance performances!

The themes of the street performances will differ every week – these will range from European-style acrobatics and circus performances to traditional kung fu – there’s really something for everyone! Check out the full schedule here!

Come nighttime, you will be dazzled by the pyrotechnic edition of the Symphony of Lights – and additional beam lights projected from the TST promenade, creating mesmerizing dancing light effects! The night sky will also be illuminated with stunning marine pyrotechnic displays! The little ones will love it.
