Papadakis: A New Pop-Up Experience In Tai Kwun

Black Sheep Restaurants and Tatler have banded together to bring you Papadakis, a new and transportive pop-up experience in Tai Kwun. Guests will escape into a world dedicated to the Greek islands. Starting from May 24 until June 12 by invitation only, and best enjoyed by guests aged 15 or older.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PAPADAKIS EXPERIENCE:

You will be welcomed into the ouzeria with a customary shot of ouzo and a choice between red or white wine. Once settled in, you’ll be escorted to the Greek-inspired dining room, where guests will enjoy a perfectly designed menu of traditional Greek dishes and a fantastic spread of sharing-style mezze alongside surprise shots of ouzo!

Highlights of the Papadakis menu: are Scallop Saganaki, seared jumbo scallops basted with roasted cherry tomatoes, ouzo butter and a dusting of green herbs; Slow-roasted Lamb that has been marinated for 12-hours, wrapped and basted in lemon, spices and red wine and of course Greek classics like house-made Hummus, smoky Roasted Eggplant, Greek Village Salad and more!

After dinner, make sure to stop by the quaint souvenir shop tucked away on the side street. Where scoops of gelato and a selection of nostalgic candies will be handed out. In collaboration with Messina, Papadakis introduces two limited-edition flavors of frozen treats: Scents of Santorini, a refreshing grapefruit and olive oil sorbet, and A Greek Tragedy, a honey gelato smashed with pistachio baklava and pistachio fudge (also available for a limited time at Messina).

PRICE: HK$1188 Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday / HK$1388 Thursday – Saturday (including on-site DJ spinning a mix of Greek covers and classic Europop tunes from 8pm). Prices are inclusive of free-flow drinks.
