Register For The RUN Charity Trail Race This November In Hong Kong

Back after a three-year hiatus, the wonderful NGO RUN Hong Kong is bringing back its RUN Charity Trail Race, and this year with an added twist! Alongside other runners, families, with kids as young as 6, will be able to participate this time, supporting the most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong.

There are more than 10,000 asylum seekers currently in Hong Kong; they live with limited access to housing, education, work, and other opportunities. RUN stands by vulnerable refugees, with a special focus on empowering women, fostering resilience and nurturing self-reliance Through the power of sports and the strength of education, RUN hopes to pave the way for refugees to build lives that are safe and with a hope for the future. The RUN Trail Race 2023 will be an opportunity for everyone to experience first-hand the diversity of talents amongst the RUN community – they will running alongside you on the trails, cheering from the sidelines, cooking delicious food on the finish line and crafting unique trophies for the winners!

Event categories and details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, November 25, 2023, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM HKT
• Location: Tai Tam, Hong Kong
• 8 km trail race: individual adult 18+, individual youth (ages 14-17), individual youth (ages 11-13), family team (1 adult + 1 youth)
• Kids race: a 1.5km nature trail loop that can be accompanied (ages 6-8) or unaccompanied (ages 9-10).
• Registration & Race Start: Tai Tam BBQ Area Site 2
• Each entry includes a minimum suggested donation. You’re welcome to give more, begin a new monthly donation, or donate on event day. Every donation, no matter the size, helps to support the most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong.
