Celebrating its fifth spectacular year and 100 incredible performances, Septime Webre’s The Nutcracker: A Hong Kong Adventure returns to captivate audiences this holiday season. Set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, this festive masterpiece takes viewers on a magical Christmas Eve journey as Clara, Fritz, and the Nutcracker Prince battle the menacing Rat King to save their enchanted kingdom. Along the way, they encounter whimsical characters inspired by Hong Kong’s rich culture, including dazzling peacocks, lively jockeys, spinning dim sum, and elegant bauhinias. This year’s production introduces exciting surprises, complemented by stunning costumes and breathtaking sets that celebrate early 20th-century Hong Kong’s heritage and beauty. Recognized with UNESCO’s Star of Outstanding Award and the Spirit of Culture Award in 2024, this beloved classic is a joyous celebration of magic, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.
