This year, InnerGlow 2026 marks half a decade of enchanting light artistry at Tai Kwun, where stunning projections bring heritage architecture to life in a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and culture. Running from 6 to 22 February 2026, the Parade Ground and historic Barrack Block façade will transform nightly from 6:30pm to 9pm into Discotheque Dreams, a funky journey through the disco era’s revolutionary arrival in Asia. Featuring pulsing beats and a neon dreamscape, this year’s production blends East and West with creative nods to lion dances, martial arts films, and 1970s Hollywood classics. For the first time, real-time audience participation invites visitors to step into the show, with projections and live performances merging for a truly immersive experience.
InnerGlow 2026 also welcomes the return of the Searchlight mentorship programme, now in its third year, showcasing new works by alumni artists. A 30-minute display on the historic F Hall and Prison Wall will highlight cutting-edge digital storytelling and technology, guided by industry leaders including The Electric Canvas, multimedia artist Ng Tsz Kwan, and sound designer Roy Cheung.
Supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, with CLP Holdings Limited as Principal Sponsor and Indosuez Wealth Management as Lead Sponsor of Searchlight, this free event invites everyone to revel in disco energy and luminous creativity. Whether you’re dancing through nightly parties or marveling at the technicolour collision of animations, InnerGlow is a must-see tradition to celebrate the end of one lunar year and welcome the next. Don’t miss this dazzling experience as Tai Kwun bridges Chinese tradition, Hong Kong history, and bold creative spirit to greet the Year of the Horse!
InnerGlow is free for everyone and no booking is required! The 15-minute spectacle is shown six times each evening (except February 16, 2026).
