InnerGlow is back in Tai Kwun to delight us with a brand-new program of art, light, and music. This year’s theme is “Garden of Reflection,” crafted in partnership with The Electric Canvas (Australia’s pioneering projection mapping specialists) and representing an exploration of Hong Kong’s literature, calligraphy, and nature.
Garden of Reflection 2.0 extends onto the Pottinger ramp, enhancing the Parade Ground entrance with a new InnerGlow animation. This display showcases characters that shift and roam among vibrant flowers, creating a sensory tunnel that immerses visitors in the InnerGlow experience. Additionally, this year’s zodiac sign weaves through a sea of traditional Chinese motifs, celebrating the Year of the Snake.
InnerGlow will once again extend beyond the Tai Kwun courtyard and expand to the Prison Yard for InnerGlow Searchlight, which Hong Kong graduates and undergraduate students designed.
InnerGlow is free for everyone and no booking is required! The 15-minute spectacle is shown six times each evening (except January 29 -30, 2025).
