If you’re looking for a gorgeous place to stay either on your own, or with your family, Stone House is hitting the scenes of Ubud with its’ cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, stunning landscaping and uber-designed rooms. The owners have painstakingly taken years building each villa, complete with their own personality. One is made entirely of wood, built on stilts in the jungle, another is reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach house and the last one is Javanese colonial style with dark, ebony furniture, rich with deep, strong colors.
The attention to detail at Stone House is second to none. Luxurious linens, antique treasures from travels to far-flung places, Asian objects d’art don shelves and tabletops and intricately woven textiles accent sofas and chairs. A stay at Stone House feels more like a visit to an old friend’s home, but with a touch of luxe living.
Stone House is mere minutes from downtown Ubud, yet far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding emerald, rice fields.

The details are many.... albeit a carved window, an oversized hotel coffee table book, a woven carpet from the Himalayas, the stunning 18m infinity pool with sitting niches, or seashells collected from a remote beach.
