If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious meal, check out Warung Sopa! This laid back, kid-friendly restaurant is 100% vegetarian, with an emphasis on wholesome and organic food.
Younger sister to Madrid’s Sopa, Warung Sopa offers an eclectic mix of Japanese and Balinese dishes. The décor is a pleasing combination of natural wood, white brick walls and low seating on cushions for a touch of Japan. Kids will love the oversized chalkboard with “Happy Life” scribbled on it, and the kids corner filled with books, toys and crafts. There’s even a rattan bassinet for the littlest members of the family!
Ingredients here are locally sourced, such as the natural sea salt from East Bali and the Indonesian cacao and vegetables from a nearby farm. Although the MSG-free menu is varied, many visitors choose the signature dish, Nasi Campur – rice with a selection of sides including sambal, a spicy chutney known throughout the archipelago. Dig in!
A relaxing place to enjoy a pure, tasteful meal while the little ones entertain themselves for hours!
Health conscious and veggie families, and petite tree-huggers.
On Sunday, Warung Sopa hosts an organic market, where farmers come to sell their produce and other vendors sell homemade jams. If you're lucky, pick up some of Sopa's own miso paste!
