Delicious Nalu Bowls For Breakfast And Beyond In Bali

Healthy Goodness In A Bowl

What’s a Nalu bowl, you ask? It’s a delicious smoothie in a bowl, topped with homemade granola and fresh banana.  Sounds good, looks even better; these babies are bursting with color. They make you feel alive just looking at them!  Inspired by famous waves from around the world, you can tuck into the Balinese-inspired Uluwatu: dragonfruit, papaya, raspberry and apple juice or you might be in the mood for a Pipeline:  pineapple, mango, coconut, coconut milk and coconut water. There’s also a Teahuppo, J-Bay and Macaronis to try. If that’s not enough, you can top the bowls with extra bits of delicious healthiness – goji berries, chia seeds, bee pollen, raspberries and the list goes on!  The original Nalu Bowl grass hut is tucked down a little laneway in Seminyak, underneath Shelter (also a great spot for a coffee and healthy meals) and you can now find them at every surfers favorite hang out – Single Fin in Uluwatu. These bowls are being touted as being the perfect pre or post surf snack but we think they’re pretty darn good any time of the day. Surf or no surf!
