Hungry? Good news Italian grubbers, Chef Massimo, originally from Southern Italy, will sort you with pizzas, pasta, and plenty of gelato for dessert! Featuring a wide variety of Italian classics, Massimo’s is one of Sanur’s longest standing restaurants. Not only is the food fun, but the owner, Massimo, keeps the spirit alive by often stepping out of the kitchen to chat with patrons. This unassuming gem has both indoor and outdoor seating where families are always welcome.
The restaurant décor is a bit spartan, but that doesn’t hold people coming back time and time again. Massimo uses many locally sourced ingredients, and serves savory pastas, thin-crust pizza and divine desserts.
One of the main draws to Massimo’s is the homemade gelato (yum!). They have a large gelato storefront just off the main tourist drag in Sanur and serve a multitude of exotic flavors. Ciao bella!
We all know it's difficult to travel to exotic countries with strange foods. We love that Massimo's has pizza and over 30 flavors of gelato to choose from!
Finicky kids, famished travelers, honeymooners and ice cream fanatics!
If you're visiting during Bali's peak season, or traveling with a large brood of kids, a reservation is highly recommended, otherwise you'll have a long wait.
