Perfect for anyone unwinding after a day of adventure and ski fun.   Soak in open-air baths gazing at majestic Mount Yotei, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and feel the stress slip away in a serene, nature-inspired setting.

Here is the scoop from our visit:

  • What Is The Vibe?  This feels like a 5-star hotel spa.  Expect modern design, clean and luxurious pools, and fantastic changing rooms (complete with Dyson hair dryers).
  • Reservations:  No reservation needed.  On arrival, you go up the stairs and buy tickets (credit card is ok!).  The pricing is affordable as well (adults: ¥2,500)
  • The Facilities: With separate indoor and outdoor baths for men and women, plus a cedar sauna, the facility blends contemporary design with traditional Japanese onsen culture.
  • What Do I Wear And Bring?: Nothing!  Be sure to bring a towel from the hotel; otherwise, you will need to rent one from the onsen.
  • Can Kids Come?  It’s welcoming for all ages (all kids can join), making it a gentle, relaxing spot where kids can enjoy the novelty of the warm waters and the captivating outdoor views—while parents recharge.
  • Why Is the Water Special? The mineral-rich waters are especially soothing after active days, promoting circulation and deep relaxation.
