    • Leg 2: Guangzhou to Yangshuo
      From Guangzhou, board another high-speed train to Yangshuo Railway Station, which takes approximately 3 hours. Splurging on first-class seats is worth it for the added comfort, fast-tracking, and fewer crowds.

    Alternative Journey:

    Travel from Hong Kong to Guilin (3 hours), then hire a car or van (about a 1.5-hour drive) to reach Yangshuo. This option offers greater flexibility and scenic views.

Start early or near dusk to avoid heat and crowds, and note that while the route is free, scenic spots charge separate entry fees. You can also explore the Yuan Bao Cave on the way.

Highlights include the daring glass-bottomed skywalk, the 140-meter Ruyi Suspension Bridge (suspended 58 meters above the valley), and a panoramic observation deck. The glass bridge, while optional, is not for the faint-hearted! Along the way, you’ll find shops selling snacks, water, and souvenirs to make your journey more comfortable.
