Playgrounds in Singapore are constantly upgrading to become bigger and better, and the next one to have your agenda for your next family day out is Whampoa Park. They have recently developed two new playgrounds within the park vicinity, just in time for you to plan ahead for upcoming weekend plans.
Separated into three main areas, there’s something for all ages on your visit. The first area is a treehouse themed structure suitable for kiddos aged between 5 to 12 years old. Little ones can unleash their inner explorer, with swings, slides and climbing walls to get their hands on.
Younger ones between 2 to 5 years old will prefer the jungle play zone, with shorter slides and platforms. There are also seated swings, a log tunnel and even a jeep for great photo ops! Elsewhere, the ninja obstacle course will delight teens and adults, complete with five stations to challenge dexterity and agility – namely the Ninja Steps, Traverse Wall, Balance Walk, Sway Steps and Agility Pods.
After you’re done exploring the playgrounds, don’t leave without checking out the jogging track, basketball court, pet park for fur kids and a therapeutic garden for a zen walkthrough.
Beyond just a playground, Whampoa Park also boasts a wealth of activities for the ultimate family day out.
