There’s no shortage of parks and gardens in Singapore, but if you’re running out of places to bring the kiddos to, why not check out the newly-opened Therapeutic Garden over at Jurong Lake Gardens? Spanning 3,100 square meters, this nature haven has specific areas catered to both kids and adults, so everyone in the family can get involved!
With a focus on well-being, the outdoor space will not only invigorate you physically but mentally as well. Kiddos can head to the Children’s Discovery Area that features 4 themed zones: Fragrance Zone, Sound Zone, Plant Zoo, and Touch Zone. These areas will engage all five senses with the help of musical instruments and glow-in-the-dark walkways, on top of climbing areas and a slide. The space is also wheelchair-friendly for those with special needs.
Adults can make their way to the Butterfly Maze for a calming stroll surrounded by greenery, or even play a round of chess at the nostalgic stone chess table. Older folks will also be taken for a throwback with the old school swing and signs highlighting memories and images from the past.
With so many things to do and see at this lush, new spot, you and the whole family will be in for a treat on your next outdoor adventure here!
It’s the first nature park in Singapore with dedicated areas for seniors and children.
Nature-loving kids and adults.
It’s open 24 hours and entry is free!
