At the end of Sentosa is Tanjong Beach, a quiet secluded part of the island where you can relax in the day and party at night. You’ll see swimmers first thing in the morning, dog walkers later on and then kids running around enjoying the sunshine. The bay is a small crescent with shallow waters, perfect for a splashing good time. Wind down the day with a cocktail and dinner at Tanjong Beach Club before heading home.

Just next door to Sentosa Beach is Palawan beach. This beach is mostly famous for the Pirate of the Caribbean inspired, rope bridge. Find your inner Jack Sparrow and talk a walk across the bridge on to the small island and swim back. The beach is full of soft white sand, perfect for relaxing on and building sandcastles.

Another East Coast members club with one Olympic sized pool situated at the front of the Club, and a Learn-to-Swim pool adjoined at the side this is a great place for serious and not so serious swimmers. They have another Olympic pool which serves competitive water babies and big kids too.

A new addition to the swim scene this Olympic pool is fabulous for little ones who see themselves as the next great athlete. With 10 lanes to choose from this is great for little swimmers of all abilities. For little swimmers, they can enjoy some of the splash facilities just outside. This is a fantastic public pool for kiddos to play around in. They have 8 colorful twisting slides, a fun pool, one Jacuzzi, a competition pool and two teaching pools. Costing as little as SG$2 to get in this must be placed on your to do list next weekend.

This public pool is great for toddlers and little ones. They have a toddler pool, a wading pool, one learner pool, two slides and a competition pool for older kids. Open every day except Wednesday’s this is a great summer find to keep the kids entertained.

Katong swimming complex is a resort style pool, with many beautiful lush surroundings. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a good swim. Swimming lessons for kids are conducted throughout the week and on weekends. Located on the East Coast this is the perfect place to cool off on the way home after a busy day.
