Located in the Southern Ridges of Singapore, HortPark is known as a one-stop gardening hub, but did you know that it has tons of hands-on experiences for kids? Families, grab your gardening gloves, and let’s go!
HortPark has workshops for just about every age group, so it’s a great place for families with multiple-aged kids. Little ones can learn how to grow their first plant and take care of it, or create their own floral arrangement or terrarium. Older kids can take a course in creating an airplant that grows in little to no soil at all!
Want more fun? Join a guided tour of the park for a sneak peek of the many unique themed gardens, like the Herb & Spice Garden (sniff sniff…yum!) and the Bamboo Labyrinth. Mix and match workshops and tours for extra learning!
After a nature-filled day, head over to the Vineyard at HortPark, where parents can enjoy delicious Thai, Italian, or French food with a glass of wine, while the little ones wind down in the restaurant’s special kid’s corner!
Kids can enjoy nature while learning at the same time! Plus, most of HortPark's workshops and tours are under S$20. Score!
Nature lovers and families with multiple-aged kids looking for an outing to suit all!
HortPark is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, so it's perfect for the early-risers, and a tranquil place for a stroll before bedtime.
