Whoosh into 2023 with the new exciting plans by The Shangri-La Group, which has just announced its plans to develop its first standalone lifestyle and entertainment precinct – Palawan Sands at Sentosa Island, Singapore.
Sentosa is home to luxury resorts, theme parks, golf courses, family-friendly beach clubs, a casino, and it is really a cherry on top of the cake with its plans for Southeast Asia’s first gamified electric Go-Kart circuit. Go-Kart enthusiasts and Adrenaline Junkies will be thrilled to barrel down the three-level circuit in a race that incorporates elements of virtual gaming. Drivers will use their array of “special powers” to sabotage their competitors or give themselves a turbo boost.
Two new beach clubs will be the new highlight on Palawan Sands. One will be a sandcastle-themed family beach club which will attract families with children for a great day out in the sun. The other beach club, +Twelve, will feature an iconic swim-up bar in the main pool as well as 12 terraced luxurious private cabanas, each with its own infinity-edge plunge pool with a great view of the sunset in Sentosa.
UltraGolf is a new 18-hole mini-golf course adjacent to the family beach club, summing up the great lineup of attractions on Sentosa Island in 2023.
Exciting new attractions hitting the beach next year, with so many places for families to explore!
