Get back to nature at this lush oasis in the peaceful Kranji countryside! Bollywood Veggies is the perfect family outing in nature to tour, play, learn, and even have a meal!
* TOUR: Bollywood Veggies specializes in healthy, locally grown produce with no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or growth hormones. Take a walking tour around the 10-acre farm spotting all of the labelled fruits, vegetables and flowers, see frogs, fish, insects and learn about the history of food culture at the Food Museum.
* PLAY: Connect with family and enjoy the simple pleasures of food and play… kids can enjoy a simple swing tied to a tree, see-saw, hula hoops and basket ball hoops or a game of hide and seek in the maze of gardens.
* LEARN: You’ll find activity books and educational worksheets here for school groups, and also for individuals by request. The Green Starter is good for children 6-8 years old and encourages them to interact with plants, or try the scarecrow challenge where groups build a scarecrow using materials found on the farm.
* EAT: Afterwards enjoy a country style meal straight from the garden at the Poison Ivy Bistro.
Over the years, Bollywood Veggies has had visits from all walks of life including presidents and celebrities such as Martha Stewart! In the works are a farmer’s market, arts and crafts workshops and a hotel, all supporting the local community and encouraging Singaporeans and visitors to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
There's nothing like getting back to nature and enjoying the simple pleasures of country life.
Nature enthusiasts, those wanting a break from the hectic city life of Singapore.
If you want to make it a full day out, there are numerous other farms to visit nearby in the Sungei Buloh Wetland.
