Secret Parks To Explore With Kids In Singapore
Enjoy a scenic ride through the park on two-wheels. The cycling trails in ECP are dotted with pit stops and eateries along the way, so you can recharge whenever needed. Make a stop at ECP’s Cyclist Park and put your cycling skills to the test. The circuit features slopes and obstacle courses designed for all ages and skill levels. Rent a bicycle from one of the various rental stores available throughout the park. Some stores even offer an option to return the bicycle at other outlets conveniently located island wide.

Join in the fun at one of Singapore’s largest outdoor skate parks. You can find a friendly community of skaters challenging new tricks and enjoying their love for this sport together in the same space. The area features different courses for varying skill levels including gentle slopes and low ledges to extreme obstacles like vertical bowls and towering ramps. The skatepark is also open round the clock so you can visit anytime.

This towering 16 meters high playground is packed with loads of fun elements to keep the whole family busy! The four-story play tower has various rope obstacle courses, hammocks and grip walls for visitors to navigate through. At the top, you can take an exhilarating descent down the tube slides. For the little ones, there is also a water play area for them to keep cool in the heat. There is no entry charge or bookings required, so you can pop by whenever you are free.
Opens daily 8am to 8pm. Vertical Challenge and Water play area closed on Mondays for maintenance.

Sign up your kids for a magical enchanted journey at The Tiara Society while you enjoy a well deserved break in the meantime. Incorporating creative and imaginative play, children can enjoy the indoor play area which includes themed rooms like the ice palace, knight fort and wardrobe chambers. At just S$ 45 (non-member) for a 2 hour session, you can also sign up as a member to enjoy greater discounts. Have a chill outdoor grill session amidst the lush greenery at ECP with family and friends. With over 80 BBQ pits situated at different areas of the park, there is no shortage of options. From S$16, you get to use the pit from noon till 10.30pm. You can book the BBQ pits online via the NParks website. Do reserve your slots in advance, as popular spots often get booked up quite early.

Visit the permanent life-sized dinosaur displays at Jurassic Mile from ECP via the park connector. Grab your jogging shoes, hop onto a bicycle or put on your skates and enjoy the beautiful breeze and amazing views along the trails. There are various signs located nearby to direct you to the attraction. The Jurassic mile is about 1 kilometer long and there is a designated path so both toddlers and elderly can navigate through the track easily. Check out the only cable ski park in Singapore located in the heart of ECP! There are different routes suitable for varying skill levels. For those who are just starting out, the beginner-friendly route is even suitable for kids from as young as 6 years old. You will also be guided by instructors during the session. For families and friends, opt for the Share-The-Fun pass to enjoy greater savings.

Bask in the sun and enjoy the sea breeze as you catch some waves out in the open sea by ECP. At Aloha Sea Sports Center, they offer a range of family friendly water sports activities including windsurfing, sailing and stand up paddling. Rent your own equipment or take a course under the guidance of their experienced team of instructors. There are even courses catered for children from as young as 8 years old!

This quaint little spot, away from the bustle, offers a quiet place for families to chill. One of the iconic features of this outdoor play area is the galore of red swings. That’s not all. These huge swings can accommodate groups and is also an ideal spot for enjoying the coast views or stargazing at night. They even have a mini obstacle made of logs for the little ones to explore.

This colorful play area has many features including a massive space for kids to run about. You can’t miss the eye-catching red tower that is equipped with various rope bridges for the kids to maneuver through. Around the tower, there are various zones featuring climbing walls, interactive structures and a toddler-friendly area to keep the little ones entertained. The playground is also conveniently located near several food options so you can easily recharge before or after.

These vibrant pink flowers are often seen peppered along the roadsides all over Singapore. Catch these amazing flowers in full bloom all year round at ECP. Located at Area F, you can find a garden area dedicated to these signature streetside flowers! Be transported into a floral paradise and relish in the tranquil ambiance. There is also a platform, accessible through a spiral staircase, for you to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the garden along with the stunning seaside views.

One family-friendly activity you can enjoy by the beach at zero cost - sandcastle building! There are tons of trees around offering plenty of shade, so bring along a mat, grab your building tools and head down to one of the many beaches at ECP. You can also sign up for a free workshop conducted by Castle Beach to learn tips on how to make amazing sandcastle structures and enjoy some quality time together as a family.

Well known for its diverse fish population, where you can spot occasional endangered species of stingrays, sharks and turtles, Bedok Jetty is a hot spot for fishing enthusiasts. While it is legal to fish here, it is strongly recommended for anglers to adopt responsible fishing practices at all times and practice the catch-and-release method to minimize the ecological impact. The jetty also offers a great spot to people-watch and catch uninterrupted views of the sunset.

Looking for a place to recharge? Parkland Green offers an array of family-friendly food establishments, serving up amazing dishes and coastal views. Just up front, there is a huge lawn area which is a great spot for families to picnic and children to run about to their hearts’ content. Conveniently located right next to Parkland Green, in the heart of ECP, the dog park offers a large and spacious area for your fur babies to explore and meet other fur friends too. In the fenced area, it is common to find dogs unleashed and roaming freely. As there are not many benches located around the area, it is recommended to bring your own seat or mat.
