Discovery Camps Summer Season For Kids
Themed Fun For Kids Ages 3 to 14!
Discovery Camps are what every kid’s blooming curiosity needs! Their Summer Season starts on June 03, 2019 and is on until August 16, 2019. It’s all-inclusive which means they organize everything from transport to yummy meals. The only thing left is for your discoverer to choose which camp inspires them…and there are plenty to choose from as well!

The Details:
Price: An all-inclusive price of SG$625 per child, per week. Make sure to click the links as many are already offering some amazing discounts!
Dates Of Camp: Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm (8:30am for early drop-off)
Food: Freshly cooked, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, all meals are prepared and delivered by Michelin Star Celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant. Check the menu here! Tell them about any special diet your kids have —they have you covered.
Transport: A convenient, safe bus service with 19 stops around the island. This camp is all about convenience! Transport info is neatly packed here.

MULTI-ACTIVITY CAMPS AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
There are so many ways for your 3-to-8-year-old to release their energy in productive ways! Hitting that perfect balance between learning & play. During the camp, the kids will move from one activity to the other. Each activity will be an hour long. This Summer, your 3 to 5 year old will get to explore different activities such as Tech, Zumba, Art, Drama, and Music. ENGLISH EXPLORERS AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Native English teachers nurture and develop your child’s English skills through fun interactive activities in English Explorers with a focus on creative writing, story comprehension, cloze passages, grammar, and vocabulary. Their English Explorer programmes have been designed by our team of specialist educators to spark children's natural curiosity for learning, excite their imagination, nurture their creativity and develop their confidence and communication skills.

ACTOR'S STUDIO AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Lights, camera, action! Building confidence on stage throughout Actor’s Studio, the 6 to 8-year olds will work collaboratively to rehearse and prepare a show for parents in their Black Box Theatre run by Lorna Whiston Schools! Their 4 to 5-year olds perform a musical theme run by ABA Theatre Academy at SJI International. They’ll learn what goes into producing a show (scripting, stage directions, movement and more).

ART STUDIO AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Maybe your child does not want to get on stage but needs another creative outlet for their rich inner world. Drawing, painting, printing, and pottery await at the Art Studio, where kids learn about and explore the tools and principles of visual arts, draw inspiration from history and the masters who pushed limits and create their own authentic and informed pieces of expression! LEGO ROBOTICS AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
While some have fun with numbers on paper, others shine when math is put to physical use. LEGO Robotics lets kids experience science, engineering, and maths through a hands-on approach as they brainstorm and experiment while building and programming their own robot. MAGIC MATHS AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Maths can be so fun and empowering when the approach is right with the spirit of discovery! Magic Maths engage campers with numbers through interactive games boosting their problem-solving skills and addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, graphing, estimation and story problems. CODE ACADEMY (New Topics!) AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Does your kid love Minecraft or Roblox? Instead of playing games let’s teach them at Code Academy to design, code and publish their own game! Coding enhances kids critical and logical reasoning and, in the process, they become more effective problem-solvers! This summer, Discovery Camps will be bringing in the next level for Minecraft and Roblox. In addition, for the very first time, our 12 to 14-year-olds will get a chance to try out Virtual Reality and Tech Entrepreneurs!

MOVIE MAKER AT DISCOVERY CAMPS:
Movie Maker camp welcomes visionaries of all skill levels to create some stop-motion magic. The journey they take has no shortcuts—it takes them from pre-production to post-production, from writing the story and building the characters and scenes to using digital photography and editing tools. Partnered with Endeavour Journeys, UK-based education provider which specializes in teaching skills for life through entrepreneurship. Your kiddo will learn how to develop a growth mindset and thus build a better life and future, will learn how to overcome any challenge, and lead others. In short, how to be better citizens of the world.
