A little off the beaten path, Kandahar Street is a part of Singapore that is fun for the whole family to explore. Shop houses from the 1930-60s have been beautifully restored, and are now home to boutiques and restaurants galore!
One of the best stops on Kandahar Street is Maison Ikkoku, a self-proclaimed “cafe centered on quality coffee and the perfect semi-alfresco cocktail bar.” On the first floor, you can order coffee brewed in 8 different methods! Pair that with their Croque Madame or French Toast with Sea Salt Caramel and the crew will be well-fueled for the day.
Fancy an afternoon snack? Choose from a menu of fresh salads and gourmet sandwiches with portions large enough to share with your little ones. The atmosphere is laid back so relax, sip your coffee, and contemplate ordering a slice of cheescake. Yum!
