Singapore is full of hidden food gems, and pasta-lovers, you’re in luck! The next time you’re planning a family meal out, make a booking for Forma, a new Italian restaurant that’s popped up at Joo Chiat.
Here, pasta is prepared fresh, features unique shapes and is made by traditional methods. Menu highlights include the Tortellini In Brodo (SG$34) which include pork-filled tortellini in a chicken broth, as well as the Busiate con Pesto alla Trapanese (SG$28), a pesto-based dish with tomatoes, basil and almond. If your meal mates don’t particularly fancy pasta, there are also other mains to consider, like the Merluzzo alla Scafata (SG$38) cod fish and Bistecca di Tomahawk (SG$248). Take note that their menu changes every quarter, so check out their Facebook page before heading down.
To make your visit more memorable, the pasta kitchen is also visible from indoors so you can see the entire preparation process. Oh, and did we mention there is also an outdoor patio that welcomes pets too?
With unique pasta shapes and a rotational menu, Forma keeps things interesting for pasta fans!
Pasta and western food lovers of all ages.
The restaurant is only open between Tuesday to Saturday for now, with last orders at 10pm.
