What can I say? There are burgers and there are DeBurgers. Once you’ve tried the latter, there’s no turning back whatsoever. It was back in 2008, when a group of friends opted for a burger BBQ instead of a regular wings and hot dogs party that the idea to turn those yummy burgers to a brand materialised. Since then, DeBurg has grown to become a fav haunt of many. Check out their menu and you’ll find many burgers named after local talent/celebrities as well!
A must-try is the Encik burger – 2 x 100g Australian pork patty, stuffed with cheese, Iberico chorizo, pineapple ring, more Iberico chorizo, even more cheese. Some crispy Canadian streaky bacon is slapped on for fun. Some greens to remove a bit of guilt and a whole slice of Spanish red onion. BBQ sauce on the heel bun and mayonnaise on the crown bun. This is presented in a set of 4″ buns, along with 10 tater tots. Sink your teeth into the peanut butter glazed burger patty – a definite must! Burger buns not your thing? Fret not! You can order just patty and fries or for a healthier option, mesclun salad.
