The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) is a world-leading organization dedicated to forestry research and development. Their institution’s areas of focus include forestry and environment, forestry biotechnology, forest products, forest biodiversity, natural products and economic and strategic analysis.
The FRIM campus itself is open to visitors and has lots of activities on offer. You and your kids can jog or enjoy a nature walk, mountain bike, take photographs, camp or picnic here. This is a great place for kids to get close to nature!
There is also a Malay Traditional House here, which you and the little ones can enter and explore. Amazingly, this house, which is made from Chengal wood, doesn’t have a single nail in it!
A wonderful place full for outdoor activities that also aims to protect the environment and native wildlife.
Nature lovers and those who love the great outdoors!
It is open from 5:30am to 7:30pm, so you and the kids will have plenty of time to enjoy a full day’s activities when you're here.
