Sipping coffee, chewing a few sandwiches and petting a dog? What more could one want in life! Pets reduce stress and depression and brings joy to their owners hearts. For the people who love animals but can’t have a pet at home, you can always drop by at the handful number (and growing) of pet cafes in KL to hang out and play with cats, dogs and other furry animals.

  • Clawset Cafe

    This cafe has plenty of dogs to play with - at least four Pomeranians, a poodle, a chihuahua, a skinny Maltese and for cat lovers - 2 chubby cats. They allow you to bring dogs in as long as they wear diapers (which they have in store). The owner also has a pet salon next door if your pooch needs some pampering and grooming. Clawset is just 20 minutes away from KL city and is the perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

  • Cubs and Cups

    The cafe was founded by a group of Koreans and owns a few resident dogs which are definitely the main attraction of this cafe! Pet owners are also welcomed to bring their pets to the cafe to enjoy some comfort food and allow their pets to play with other pets. This cafe serves a wide array of items such as pasta, brunch, smoothie bowls, waffles and more! Foodies are recommended to try the bingsu as it is served in a huge portion but it is very delicious.

  • The Hound

    Don’t miss your chance to play with Cookie, the in-house Beagle. It has a cosy ambience, great for a lazy day out with your furkids. They also provide water and potties for your puppies. Pair their freshest coffee with their slice of heavenly cake and you have your afternoon or evening sorted.

  • Good Meowning Cafe

    This cafe deserves some love simply because they do not charge a high entrance fee their play sessions. Every session lasts for 30 minutes and it would only cost you RM 7! This cafe houses a number of fluffy felines and British Shorthairs and they are all very friendly! This is a budget cat cafe that is guilt free, thus making it the best outlet to get your furry therapy! This cafe also serves authentic Malaysian delicacies.

  • Bow Wow Cafe

    Designed for dogs and dog lovers, Bow Wow Cafe is a great place to visit for good food and cute dogs. The cafe has a few resident dogs that patrons can play with, and there’s a dedicated play area if you bring your own dogs. Bow Wow Cafe is also excellent for gatherings, late night snacks (they open until midnight), and doggy birthday parties.

  • Purradise Cat Cafe

    The resident cats here are either rescued or taken from the streets, fosterers and shelters. There are only a couple of house rules to observe and they are fair and reasonable enough. The most important rule of all is that you are not supposed to bring any foreign cat to the cafe because it will upset the harmony of the ‘house’. Also, every customer gets a free drink! There will be 25 adorable cats roaming around you. While you're there, take the time to get to know the kittens by their unique names.

  • Poozie n’ Beach

    From pet-related merchandises to boarding services to grooming services, Poozie n’Beach is the pawfect one-stop place for every pet lover.     Kopicat is a cat cafe with a dedicated area for the cats. All you have to do is to purchase a drink to gain entry to your cat haven. Pamper the cute and furry cats and be rewarded with some of the cutest response from them! The cafe also offers a variety of coffee, tea, desserts and cooked dishes. Foodies should definitely try their Red Velvet and Salted Caramel Banana Cake when you pay them a visit. It is definitely a great place for cat lovers to unwind and recharge from the long week!

  • Deja Woof

    This cafe has four Corgis that are all friendly and mighty cute! With Corgis as their main attraction, this cafe, though far off from the city, have attracted many locals to their store over a short period of time. Pet owners are also allowed to bring their dogs to play with the Corgis in their play area. It is spacious enough for the doggies to wander around so patrons can play with them while dining here. They also serve good food here and what is better than a cafe with great food and Corgis to play with?

    The owner of this cafe brings 3 of his pet dogs – a Pug, a Poodle and a Shih-Poo to this cafe every day! Thus, patrons can visit this cafe to play with their furry kids even if they do not own a pet. This cafe offers simple western dishes such as fried chicken chop, pork chop, and spaghetti bolognese. They also offer a menu for pets! This cafe emulates a cozy environment as it focuses more on allowing people to relax and be filled with love from their dogs.
