Rock Climbing With Kids In Shek O, Hong Kong

Rock climbing is not only fun, it is an excellent skill with an emphasis on strength, balance and coordination.  Kids can start early with Rockstars Rock Climbing in Hong Kong.  But first you need to learn some of the groovy lingo:

Jamming- the process of using your body to climb a crack.
Crimper- A very small hold that accepts only the finger tips.
Phat- something extremely cool (use the word as much as possible along with “right on”)
Brain Bucket- a helmet (aka a parents’ best friend)

Rockstars offers a variety of classes for kids with a focus on basic climbing technique and safety on the controlled environment of a climbing wall.  Once the little climbers are comfortable on the wall, they can graduate to the real rocks of Shek-O!
