The Diamond Hill Water Feature Park Is Now Open

Cultural Heritage Sites + Great Playground

Diamond Hill has a brand-new green space for families to explore, and it comes with history, water features, and a great playground! Diamond Hill Water Feature Park is now open on the former site of Tai Hom Village, offering a relaxing outdoor escape steps from the MTR.

The park spans about 26,400 square metres and blends natural scenery with heritage elements from old Tai Hom Village, including a preserved hangar structure, a wartime pillbox and the former stone house residence of late film star Roy Chiao. These reinstated buildings give parents a chance to share a bit of Hong Kong history with kids as they wander through the grounds.

Designed as a calm, scenic space, the park features a mix of dynamic and still water features, plus special planting that creates a lush backdrop for strolls and photos. Families will find landscaped walkways, a multipurpose pavilion and activity rooms, as well as a children’s play area with a nice playground where little ones can burn off energy.

With its open spaces and indoor multipurpose rooms, the park is set up to host exhibitions, small performances, and community cultural or recreational activities. This makes it a spot to watch for future family-friendly programmes, from arts events to neighbourhood gatherings.

Just a short walk or one MTR stop away, families can pair a park visit with cultural sights like Wong Tai Sin Temple and Chi Lin Nunnery, both great for a calm stroll and photos with the kids. For lunch or early dinner, head over to nearby Kai Tak and AIRSIDE, where you will find plenty of family-friendly restaurants, cafés, and shopping to round off the outing.
