Hot off the press! Sandbox VR opened in Causeway Bay offering families and VR fans an opportunity to experience virtual reality on Hong Kong Island. For those who have not experienced VR, this is a very fun activity to enjoy with multi-aged kids. The new location is equipped with two full-sized sandboxes with the latest in VR, motion capture, and haptics technology. Families can select from fun to scary fun and we can promise – it’s awesome!
What do you need to know?
- How to book? Book ahead! It’s open 10am-10pm daily.
- How many can you get into a VR room? From 2-6!
- At what age child can do it? 8 years or older & 1.2m (48″) or taller
- What are the experiences to choose from? Click here for the full list. For families that are looking to enjoy with younger kids, we recommend the not-so-scary “Curse Of Davy Jones” which is pirate themed. You can also try Star Trek, UFL, Deadwood Valley (eek-scary – good for teens), and Amber Sky.
