Hong Kong Academy is a non-profit independent international co-educational day school for students ages 3–18 in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Academy is an officially authorized IB World School that offers three programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). All graduates receive the HKA diploma and the GCD certificate, with most opting to pursue the full IB Diploma or individual IB courses. THE SCOOP – WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE OPEN DAY:
- See The Campus: This is a unique day of fun for parents and their kids! You will take a journey of the modern award-winning 23,700㎡ custom-built sustainable facility while chatting with the school’s exceptional teachers.
- Check Out The Facilities: Check out their modern performing arts facilities (350-seat professional-grade theatre, 80-seat studio theatre, dance studios, music studios, and noise-isolation practice spaces.) and their sports facilities (800-seat gymnasium, indoor climbing wall, multi-purpose outdoor sports court, all-weather football pitch, fitness studios, and weight training gym), the high-tech classrooms, and so much more. A lot of why families and students love HKA so much is the unique community at the school and they will be at the event too!
- Meet The Community: Have a chat with parents who have decided to bring their family to HKA and ask all your questions.
- Activities For All Ages From Toddlers – Teens: They have a full schedule of events so while mom/dad explore and chat, the kids will have loads of fun and get a taste of real HKA life!

- All attendees at the Exploration Day will receive a full application fee waiver – score! This is a big benefit and the simple requirements are below:
- Attend the Exploration Day: 1 student / 1 parent minimum requirement on the day (it’s more fun this way!)
- Move Quick + Refund: Applications must be submitted by March 17, 2025, for the August 2025 start date. The application fee will be refunded as a tuition fee credit upon enrolment, or if HKA cannot offer your child a place
