The musical’s plot involves Princess Twilight Sparkle returning to Canterlot High School to compete in a Battle of the Bands alongside her human friends—including Sunset Shimmer, reformed from her previous state, using the elements of Harmony Honesty, Loyalty, Generosity, Kindness, laughter & magic to save the school from a band of sirens from Equestria.
