The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Meet Mona Lisa & Portraying the Renaissance runs at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum from May 1 to July 27, 2026. This free, family-friendly exhibition brings Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic painting to life with stunning digital media, interactive displays, and real Renaissance artifacts, making it perfect for curious kids and art-loving parents.
Step into six immersive chapters where Mona Lisa herself guides you through her 500-year journey, from an unfinished portrait to a global icon. The second part, “Portraying the Renaissance,” showcases treasures from France and Italy, including four rare Leonardo da Vinci manuscripts, sculptures, paintings, and everyday objects that highlight the Renaissance’s impact on daily life. Local pieces from the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and contemporary works by artist Xu Lei bring a fun, cross-time perspective to the exhibition.
Engaging and educational, this event is the perfect way to introduce young minds to art history in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.

- When: May 1 – July 27, 2026. Open 10am – 6pm (closed on Tuesdays).
- Where: Thematic Galleries 3, 4 & 5, 1/F, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, 1 Man Lam Road, Sha Tin, New Territories (easy MTR access — Sha Tin Station, then short walk or bus).
- How to Join: Free admission! No tickets needed. Just show up during opening hours.
