This delightful little neighborhood store has a thoughtfully edited collection of reading books, imported and locally made toys, costumes and craft kits for children of all ages. Enchanted Books not only caters to hoards of expat kids and their moms looking for the perfect gift, but also tourists in need of entertainment for the little ones while on holiday.
Wooden toys are locally made to spark a child’s imagination, such as a set of garden tools, or hand-crafted kitchens with pots and pans. Everyday, the owner scribbles inspirational quotes for parents on the blackboard just outside the shop. Enchanted Books is one of the few places in Bali that caters to western holidays and brings in an assortment of costumes and accessories for Halloween, baskets and itsaccoutrement for Easter, as well a variety of beautifully painted Christmas ornaments.
