Huge Nature Playground At Lakeside Garden In Singapore

Home To The Largest Children's Nature Play Garden

Lakeside Garden - Singapore - Little Steps Asia

Located along Yuan Ching Road and next to Lakeside MRT station in Jurong, the 53-hectare Lakeside Garden, the western section of Jurong Lake Gardens, has opened and promises a little bit of everything for everyone in the family! Lakeside Garden was developed with a strong emphasis on nature, community, and play, featuring space to gather, bond, and create shared memories. So what’s in it for the kids? Plenty! Children aged between 5 to 12 would love Forest Ramble, the largest nature play garden in the heartlands.

The 2.3-hectare play area comprises 13 different adventure stations for little ones to explore and emulate the movement of animals which inhabit a freshwater swamp forest. For the water babies, Clusia Cove, located at the northern part of Lakeside Garden, is a haven as it features a water play area for everyone of all ages, an eco-pond, and a cafe.

Clusia Cove adopts a closed-loop circulation system that includes water being cleansed through a natural plant filtration system before cascading into a shallow tidal pool and sand-based ripple pool for children and families to enjoy. For those simply wanting a relaxing stroll through the garden, head for Rasau Walk, a meandering boardwalk that brings you close to the water’s edge along the western part of Jurong Lake. The boardwalk takes you through a restored freshwater swamp forest that has been enhanced with some 50 species of plants.

Why Little Steps Loves It:

We love that different segments of the garden are catered to people from different walks of life and there's truly something for everyone here. Kiddos will be thrilled!

Who It's Perfect For:

Everyone everyone everyone!

What Else:

Rasau Walk is connected to the adjacent Grasslands and wetland trails, where little tikes can get up close and personal with a wide range of fauna, such as Grey Herons, Oriental Pied Hornbills, and even Smooth-coated Otters!
