Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park’s standout Bubble Playground now features Singapore’s first all-inclusive playground extension, designed so every child can join in the fun. Wheelchair-accessible swings, merry-go-rounds, a tactile slide, and a sensory sand table make it easy for siblings of all abilities to play side by side.
Designed in collaboration with therapists and children from voluntary welfare organisations, it’s built so kids of all abilities — including those with mobility needs, sensory sensitivities, or developmental differences — can play together side-by-side.
The playground is free, open 24 hours (though daytime is best), and pairs perfectly with the park’s other attractions like the Adventure Playground and Water Playground nearby. Expect sand, potential water splashes (from other areas), and plenty of running around — so come prepared with sunscreen, hats, change of clothes, snacks, and a picnic mat.
Little Steps Insider Tips:
The inclusive playground sits near other highlights like the Adventure Playground (pirate ship, climbing) and Water Playground (sluice gates, splashing).
Bring a mat, snacks, and a change of clothes for sand/water play.
Ample parking at Carpark B, nearby dining, and MRT/bus access make it an easy full-day family spot.
Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is a large, family-friendly park in Singapore featuring playgrounds, water playgrounds, cycling paths, and scenic gardens. It offers free outdoor fun, perfect for kids of all ages.
Yes, the eco-purified water playground has gentle features and shallow areas ideal for toddlers and young children. It’s a refreshing spot to cool off during hot Singapore days.
Families can enjoy playgrounds, water play, cycling, picnics, and walking trails. The park connects to the Park Connector Network for longer adventures.
Go early morning (before 10 AM) or late afternoon (after 4 PM) to beat the heat and peak crowds — shade is limited in parts of the playground. The inclusive playground (on the River Plains side) gets busiest midday, especially on weekends.
Bring bikes or scooters, swimwear and towels for water play, snacks, sunscreen, and a picnic mat. Plenty of space for relaxed family time in central Singapore.
We love the spirit of promoting inclusion amongst children.
All children.
Don’t miss the ground-level wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round (with safety gates) and swings — Singapore’s first of their kind here, designed with input from therapists and kids with special needs. Pair them with sand tables at wheelchair height, tactile slides, musical equipment, bells, and embossed diagrams for multi-sensory play that encourages inclusive interaction between all abilities.
