A Playful Adventure Awaits: Changi Airport’s New Airplane Playground for Little Explorers
Travel just got a whole lot more fun for families passing through Changi Airport’s Terminal 3. This vibrant new playground—designed by Danish creative studio MONSTRUM—is nestled on the Basement Level and crafted especially for children aged 2 to 5.

At the centrepiece of this imaginative wonderland is a colourful airplane structure, beckoning young adventurers to climb aboard and let their imaginations soar. Here, kids can pretend to be pilots navigating the skies, sparking creativity and a sense of discovery right before their eyes. A rainbow cloud slide adds extra delight, offering a joyful, gentle glide that brings a splash of magic to every descent.
Safety is a top priority with soft, cloud-shaped EPDM surfaces that cushion every jump, balance, and playful step. This open, bright space encourages physical activity and imaginative play in an environment designed to inspire and engage young minds.

Whether you’re on a family trip or simply exploring the airport, the new airplane playground at Terminal 3 offers a perfect pit stop for toddlers to burn off energy and have a blast before their next adventure.
We adore how the playground combines fun, safety, and creativity in one spot, giving little ones an inspiring place to play while parents relax nearby.
Ideal for families with toddlers aged 2 to 5, travellers looking for a kid-friendly break, and anyone wanting a colourful, engaging play experience.
Created by MONSTRUM, a renowned Danish design studio famous for whimsical and imaginative play spaces worldwide, this playground blends artistry with function for a truly unique experience.
