One of the best things about Singapore is our diverse culture and society. One such culture is of Peranakans, otherwise known as people of mixed local and foreign ancestry. To better educate all ages on the history, the Peranakan Museum is reopening on February 17, 2023, after a 4-year revamp.
Boasting 3 floors of galleries and exhibitions, the museum will have interactive displays and showcases that dive deep into all the various aspects of Peranakan culture. You can also spot video storytelling and preserved artifacts from the past.
Both the museum’s interiors and facade have also been refreshed, which means your visit will include great photo opportunities!
The educational site will be a great place to bring the kids for a family day out.
