My Learning Haven adopts an integrated thematic approach in learning through play and project work that ensures children learn at their own pace. Children are raised to be billingual by first developing a love for English and Mandarin before becoming confident in speaking, reading and writing. This enables them to effectively communicate in all social settings. By incorporating Finland’s Hei Curriculum, children will also learn to brainstorm ideas and work together with their peers to boost academic and interpersonal skills.

The Hollandse School offers classes for children from ages 4 to 12. The medium of instruction used is Dutch, while English is taught in primary school. Many foreign schools teach Dutch for a few hours each week, but this is in no way equivalent to the Dutch Language education provided by HSL. If their pupils return to the Netherlands, they will have no problem entering primary or secondary education and will also have a huge advantage when it comes to English language skills. All HSS teachers are trained in Holland, and their school year is divided into three terms (starting in August and running through June the following year). This school has one campus and is located close to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
