You’ve heard of beauty boxes but did you know that we’ve also got a science box subscription service for kids in Kuala Lumpur? Atom & The Dot, founded by two friends Sheena Moh and Teo Jin Hui provides a monthly curated Arts and Science activity box. The surprise box contains a wonderful mix of materials and ingredients for experiments, art applications and games suitable for kids ages 5 to 8 years old. This subscription will be perfect for scientist-wannabes and children who love exploring new activities, and enjoy the process of unboxing some goodies every month. Subscribers can choose to sign up for three, six or twelve months, or alternatively, try a one-off box priced at RM100. The price is inclusive of delivery charges within Peninsular Malaysia.
More recently, Atom & The Dot has expanded its services to offer workshops for kids from the ages of 4 to 12 years. Currently, they are collaborating with ILHAM Gallery, a wonderful art gallery in KL City Center to showcase interesting science workshops to spur interest in arts and science.
