Hiking in KL with kids?…absolutely! With trails that range from 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete and even a trail that is paved for strollers, FRIM is a great place for family hikes. Located in Kepong, this huge nature reserve is perfect for a weekend outing or a morning stroll.
The Forest Research Institute of Malaysia or FRIM covers 1,500 acres and was created on old mining land for the purpose of experimental plantations and housing a forest school. Now it is a visitor attractions for hiking, jogging, camping, picnics, weddings, and mountain biking.
