Get ready for a pawsome day of fun and charity at the annual Dogathon™ event! Back for its 25th year, this event aims to raise awareness and funds for stray animals in Malaysia. Not only will you get to spend quality time with your fur babies, but you’ll also be contributing to a great cause.
Organized by the VETERNAK and Zoologico club of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Dogathon™ is the largest dog gathering event in Malaysia. It’s all about addressing stray animal awareness and promoting good animal welfare practices. And this year, they’re taking inspiration from the magical world of Harry Potter!
Prepare for a day filled with excitement. Join the 1.2KM dog race, participate in interactive dog-friendly games like MasterHunt and Hide and Seek, and gain valuable tips on dog training. Don’t miss the adoption booth where you might find your fur-ever companion. Plus, witness an impressive K9 Unit demonstration by the Royal Malaysia Police.
Whether you have a dog or not, this event welcomes everyone. Non-pet owners can indulge in shopping, petting zoo visits, and exciting performances.
The entrance fee is only RM2 per person, and all funds collected will support the Catch, Neuter and Rehome program. So leash up your pups, pack their essentials, and get ready for a tail-wagging adventure at Dogathon™.
