Merdeka isn’t all about parades, fireworks and Jalur Gemilang. As a significant day in the Malaysia history where we celebrate independence from the rulings of the British, it is also a day where we thank our heroes for fighting for what we have today. If you are looking for something different to do this Merdeka, let us all unite together as one nation on the 31st of August for the AGE 62 Merdeka Run. With the aim of fostering unity and strengthening bonds, AGE 62 Merdeka Run will help you get fitter as no matter how good or bad you feel at any given moment, exercise has the power to make you feel stronger and better!
While you are at it, remember to check with your physician if you have any medical conditions, warm up and stay hydrated throughout the run. Listen to your body and don’t push yourself too hard.
Happy 62nd Merdeka! Here’s to you, Malaysia. Let’s look forward to another 62 years of peace, unity and prosperity!
