Are you a fan of Wednesday on Netflix? Or how about Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Beetlejuice? If the answer is yes, then you’re in for a treat!
For the first time in South East Asia, the mesmerizing world tour exhibition of Tim Burton – the director of all the movies listed above, makes its debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Despite being known as a filmmaker, Tim Burton is also a talented artist in fine art, photography and sculpture. He is widely known as one of the most imaginative artists and filmmakers capable of realizing the greatest visual effects in his work. The show takes a journey through the director’s inner world, via some 500 sketches dating back to his childhood, as well as photos, models, props and film clips.
World Of Tim Burton will be divided into 10 sections with different themes with 540 artworks on display including 150 special works by Tim Burton that have never been shown at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

- Carnivalesque
- Figurative Works
- Misunderstood Outcast
- Film Characters
- Polaroids
- Around The World
- Unrealized Projects
- Artist’s Studio
Tickets are priced at RM$88 for adults and RM$68 for children. Admission is free for those below 5 years old. Get them here!
