Formerly known as Luckin Kopi, this cafe is making waves on social media, particularly its Kota Damansara branch. The reason for its appeal is the petting zoo right next to the cafe known as The Mins which houses a number of animals including ponies, goats, rabbits, snakes, and more! This light and airy café has a wonderful space with plenty of toys for little ones aged four and under. Entry is RM10, but this is waived if you spend more than RM20 here. Italian-style café Ra-ft Café/Bistro attracts plenty of families within the KL City Center, not only for the freshly roasted coffee, fine wines, and craft beers but also for the excellent menu. The outlet at Binjai 8 offers a lovely, relaxing ambiance and a great play area. There's also an outlet at Arcoris Plaza in Mont Kiara and Sierramas, Sungai Buloh.

That’s where SRS comes into its own. With a wonderfully grown up and mouth-watering menu coupled with a fabulous wine list SRS is a winner for seafood-loving adults. But little ones will enjoy eating here just as much as their mommies and daddies. Kiddie delights include mac and cheese, tomato soup, fish fingers and a fish burger with chips. To keep them occupied, the children will be given real oyster shells and a bunch of markers that they can use to decorate it – fun!

True to its name, this is soul-warming fare that's wholly crafted to benefit inner beauty, but Beauty In The Pot's newest branch in The Gardens Mall is also lovely to look at. The hotpot restaurant itself is spacious and vibrant, with very friendly staff, making anyone feel welcome and comfortable during their visit here. Little ones will also jump with glee as the cafe comes with a kids’ play area filled with colorful toys and things to do. Beauty In The Pot is spacious enough for 280 patrons, with private rooms that can seat 12 to 24 diners. Do note that this restaurant is non-halal.

La Juiceria Superfoods Signature offers a signature healthy menu coupled with fantastic cold-pressed juices which are a must-try. There are several branches but the Bangsar location will appeal to parents with small children as the little wooden play structure here will attract the kids like a magnet. Their sister establishment Goodness Greens Café by La Juiceria at Hartamas offers a similar menu with a small play area for little ones.

A firm favorite with KL mommies thanks mainly to its healthy menu for adults and kids, there’s now a separate play section perfect for kids to chill out. Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a refreshing juice or one of the best coffees in town, Marmalade delivers pretty good service as well as yummy food. The kids' menu is extensive with healthy takes on the usual offering such as cheeseburger with sweet potato fries plus the most delicious mac and cheese we’ve tasted. Kids can opt for a choice of orange juice, babycino or milk and an ice cream with their meal for just RM20.

All Antipodean outlets, except the one in Mid Valley, provide a cute little play area with a television playing cartoons and a good selection of toys keeping small people occupied while you tuck into your excellent meal. Despite having no specific kids menu, a lot of the dishes are kid-friendly. Be warned that the Bangsar branch which offers some mean non-halal breakfasts, gets crazy busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings so be prepared to queue – rest assured it is worth it!

Welcoming children and families, the cafe features a large outdoor seating area, and there's a children's menu for a variety of healthy and kid-friendly options.

This little gem is for the lovers of good food, coffee and art. The alfresco playground is situated on lush green grass to encourage children to kick off their shoes and play barefoot outside and there's even an indoor playground. The food is simple yet tasty with all the usual favorites included on the menu such as eggs benedict, muffins and scrambled eggs. For batik painting fans, batik painting workshops are available here. Don’t forget the mozzie spray, outdoors is lovely, but biting bugs are not!

Besides a wonderful selection of probably the best cupcakes in KL, Wondermilk has main meals too such as burgers, toasted sandwiches, and jacket potatoes. Adults can enjoy the tasty freshly brewed Italian coffee, while younger customers can sip on one of the specialty drinks such as ‘Wondermilk’ – fresh milk, which comes in a variety of flavors including butterscotch and vanilla. There are several outlets across KL – the ones in Damansara and in Citta Mall both have a little play area for kids – but our favorite is the one in Publika, which has a fab area for the kids to hang out and play. They also sell a variety of birthday cakes, which are reasonably priced and delicious.

Dining here will require a minimum spend policy of RM$25 for adults, and RM$15 per child. Adorably cute is how one would describe the food and decor of The Teddy as the fluffy stuffed animal becomes the star of this establishment. The teddy bear theme runs throughout the restaurant from the food and drinks to the decor, and the actual stuffed animal is scattered throughout the place, great for single diners who would like a companion. Cute bears show up as well in your burger, rice, and even salad and coffee, making their presence felt everywhere! We love the presentation, and we bet your kiddos will adore them too!
