Opening on December 20, 2025, at The Twins, Tower II in Kai Tak, THE GUNDAM BASE HONG KONG marks the first official flagship store by BANDAI NAMCO ASIA in the city. Spanning 4,500 square feet, the space is far more than a shop—it’s an immersive universe that brings decades of Gundam heritage to life through exclusive model kits, larger-than-life displays, and creative hands-on fun.

To celebrate the grand opening, fans will be greeted by an 8-meter-tall, 1:2 scale bust of the main mobile suit from Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Backlit with glowing halo effects, this monumental piece is both a tribute to Gundam’s enduring fandom and an instant must-see photo spot. Standing beside it, a 1.8-meter RX-78-2 Gundam in iconic GUNDAM BASE colors adds a dash of nostalgia and pride to the grand unveiling.
To keep things smooth during opening week, visits will be managed through a pre-registration ballot on The Twins Rewards app. Each member can book a one-hour time slot per day, so it’s best to sign up early and follow THE GUNDAM BASE HONG KONG on Facebook for updates and entry announcements.
