Space might just be the coolest thing to learn about and lucky for the kids, the Hong Kong Space Museum is putting together two interactive workshops about space this summer. These two workshops are actually held in Cantonese but should be easy enough to follow.
50th Anniversary of Moon Landing Workshop
Held on June 6-7 & 21 as well as Aug 10 & 18, the three time slots for this workshop are 2pm to 2:30pm, 3:30pm to 4pm, and 5pm to 5:30pm. The workshop takes place at the museum’s Lecture Hall and with an 80 person per session quota, they uphold a first come first serve policy.
Lunar Lamp DIY
This workshop takes place on Sept 7 to 8 from 7:30pm to 9pm. The location will be in the museum’s activity room and rooftop, and the workshop will be led by Committee Members from Sky Observers’ Association. Click here to register!
In addition to the workshops there will be astronomy film shows narrated in English. The Mysterious Birth of the Moon screens on Sept 9 from 3pm to 3:30pm at the Lecture Hall and the Wonders of The Moon on the same day at location from 4pm to 5pm. Both shows are free admission on a first come first serve basis!
