This August Harbourcity joins forces with SNARKITECTURE (the renowned New York innovative design studio) to create their first interactive art installation here in Hong Kong, called BOUNCE. What is it? A vast stadium will be built alongside the Hong Kong Waterfront and inside, there are hundreds of enlarged 300%, 1-meter diameter white bouncy balls!
Visitors are encouraged to roll, lift and toss these insanely enlarged bouncy balls with the concept of visitors creating their own distinctive playing experiences. A super fun and unique activity for the whole family available for free from August 10 until September 9, 2018.
The gallery by the Harbour will also enjoy a massive invasion of white and silver large spheres to fill up the gallery. Here too, the visitors can enter the world of bouncy balls. A designated space to take photos of the distinctive design and installation.
SNARKITECTURE wishes to investigate the boundaries between art and architecture, and they are using the concept of “bouncy ball” to create a surreal interactive playground. The stadium is an iconic cage structure defined by a series of white steel frames. Kids and adults alike will enjoy their moments in this remarkable stadium. Each session will be 20 minutes long and will begin at 11 am – 10pm.
