Highgate House Parent Workshop For Dads

All fathers are invited to Highgate House this coming January for a special parent workshop. The workshop, which will be guided by education co-ordinator Amy Punton and Highgate House founder Julie Lam, will help dads discover new ways to build strong relationships with their children that are based on trust and understanding. 

Highgate House has identified some of the key challenges that come with being a dad and will be addressing these topics at the workshop.

Here’s a sampling of a few of the topics:

• Balancing work and family life in a healthy manner.
• Understanding the role of a modern dad, and working to be the best dad you can be. 
• Communicating with your children in ways that allow you to be heard and allow them to be understood. 
• Navigating the tricky state of modern-day media and managing its effect on young children.
